LULUC

“We’re constantly told we have to belong to something to a group, a movement,” Zoë says. “But life is an individual experience. What you do with it is in your hands. Trying to get ahead of others is built on false promises. What matters more is the relationship you have with your own life.”

Across albums like Sculptor and PasserbyLuluc have quietly built a catalogue of consistently strong releases, evolving on their own terms while remaining true to their distinctive sound. Their breakthrough album Passerby, produced by Aaron Dessner, was named one of the year’s best by NPR Music, with Bob Boilen noting he “listened to this record… more than any other that year,”. Later work continued that trajectory, with Uncut calling Sculpto“the strongest and most assured record of their career.”

Luluc have also toured with artists including The National, Fleet Foxes, Lucinda Williams and Father John Misty, building a devoted international following for their intimate, quietly affecting live performances.
