Courtney Barnett

Courtney is the Melbourne born and raised singer songwriter who rocketed to stardom on the back of her debut LP “Sometimes I Sit and Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit”, a jaw dropping collection of alt rock classics all shot through with her signature drawl and slyly witty and self-deprecating lyrics, earning her comparisons to the likes of Pavement, Wilco and the Go Betweens, among others.

Subsequent albums such as “Tell Me How You Really Feel” and “Things Take Time, Take Time” further cemented her arrival as one of the best and brightest alt rockers around, while critically acclaimed detours such as “Lotta Sea Lice”, her collaboration album with Kurt Vile, and the instrumental album “End of the Day” showed an artist who was still willing to push boundaries, zig where others zag, and never lose her restless, experimental streak, even as bona fide stardom beckoned.
