Jillian Loux

Jillian Loux strikes a dazzling first impression. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the 18-year-old singer-songwriter’s debut single ‘White Lilies’ is an elegant and smooth, mesmerizing song that seamlessly weaves together elements of R&B, soul, and alternative genres to create an atmospheric, ethereal soundscape. With a wordsmith way of crafting words and a brooding vocal smooth as honey, Jillian Loux’s debut single leaves quite an impression.

After spending two years of the pandemic in zoom sessions with acclaimed Australian songwriter Nat Dunn (Rita Ora, Charli XCX, Snakehips, Matt Corby, Cub Sport, BLACKPINK, first ever recipient of the APRA /AMCOS Billion Streams Award) when it was time to start working on her first EP, Jillian flew out to Noosa, Australia to spend a week co-writing and recording Nat alongside Australian royalty Matt Corby, where the entire forthcoming EP was born effortlessly and ‘White Lilies’ recorded exactly a year ago to this release date.

Co-written and produced by the two 2023 ARIA nominees, producers Mark Schick (Dua Lipa, Benson Boone, Hailee Steinfeild, Iann Dior, Noah Cyrus) and Lionel Crasta(Troye Sivan, Cher, Noah Cyrus, Charli XCX, 5SOS, Rufus) both worked on ‘White Lilies’ across production and vocals, and the single was mixed + mastered by Cam Parkin(Miami Horror, Bag Raiders, Maina Doe, KYE, Telenova, BOYSODA, Cody Jon).

“‘White Lilies’ to me is kind of a classy diss track” Jillian explains of her debut single. “The song mentions various observations I’ve made about a particular friendship in my life and I’m basically coming to terms with the fact that the relationship is a bit toxic and it may be time to let it go. All love at the end of the day, but self love has to come first, which sometimes means cutting off people that hurt you more than benefit you”.
